The United States Equestrian Federation’s USEF.org has many concussion safety information resources to help parents and coaches recognize, respond to, and minimize the risk of serious brain injury.
The USEF continues to work together with the CDC to educate equestrians on concussion safety. Below is more information for parents and coaches and tips on how to keep their athletes safe, how to spot a possible concussion, and what to do if a rider has incurred one.

Athletes competing in USEF competition should refer to General Rule 1316 for the USEF rules on returning to competition.
The CDC Heads Up Concussion and Helmet Safety app will help users learn how to spot a possible concussion and what to do if you think an athlete has a concussion or other serious brain injury. Download the Heads Up app on iPhone or Android.
