The Arabian Horse Association has announced that the third annual U.S. Arabian Open during the Rolex Central Park Horse Show in New York City will be put on hold until September 2019 due to the World Equestrian Games (WEG) being held the same month as the U.S. Arabian Open in 2018. WEG is a major event to showcase the equestrian sport and will be held September 11 - 23, 2018, in Tryon, North Carolina. Many of the individuals that help plan and attend the U.S. Arabian Open will be involved with WEG.
Due to the dedication needed for each event and the expectation for the U.S. Arabian Open to be the very best possible for the exhibitors, sponsors and spectators, it has been decided to delay the Central Park event till 2019. Planning will begin in 2019 for the U.S. Arabian Open and once again will be offering the Pro/Am Performance classes, which will include Halter, but new ideas will be analyzed to determine other avenues to showcase the wonderful Arabian breed.
Make plans now to attend the 2019 U.S. Arabian Open in New York City and for continued information and upcoming announcements, visit https://www.arabianhorses.org/centralpark to stay up-to-date.
