Show season is starting, and we hope you will bring your horses and enthusiasm to one (or more) of our shows. Refer to the Region's website for a listing of Region 15 club-sponsored shows and for all qualifying shows for the Region 15 Championship Show, July 6-10, 2016.
The Region 15 Arabian and Half-Arabian Championship horse show will be held in the beautiful Virginia Horse Center in Lexington, Virginia. Plans are underway and excitement is building for our Star Spangled Salute to the Arabian Horse. Mark your calendars and join us July 6-10, 2016. As plans unfold, details of the show will be posted on the Region 15 website. Stay informed.
PAHA SE District is sponsoring a five- to seven-mile Competitive Trail Ride Clinic on April 30 in the Cheshire Hunt country near Kennett Square, Pennsylvania. On May 1, in the same area, they are having a 13-mile conditioning ride. There also will be a 26-mile CTR. In cooperation with Region 15, they are sponsoring the 2016 Region 15 Championship CTR. The last two rides run concurrently, and riders with qualified horses are encouraged to enter both with discounted entry fees. The contact for all events is Kim Colket or by 610-933-7074.
The Eastern Crabbet Arabian Horse Society is holding its annual show and celebration at the Hatford County Equestrian Center, in Bel Air, Maryland, on Labor Day Weekend. While a few in-hand classes are restricted to certified Crabbet-related horses, and several are for Arabians and Half/Anglo Arabians only, the performance classes are open to all breeds. Show season is just around the corner. The following clubs would like you to mark your calendars for the following dates:
The All Arabians Club of BC is looking forward to both their Double Qualifier's in the 2016 Show Season. The first event is set for May 5-8. This is a concurrent R17/R3 competition, for not only main ring, but also dressage and sport horse, and includes some saddle seat and open breed classes. At this competition, we are holding our Boots & Bling Banquet for 150 guests in our show arena and will announce our Club High Point Top 5, Reserve and Champion Winners in 21 categories.
AAHABC's Fall Frolic Concurrent show will be held September 15-17. This show will be a R17/R4 Double Qualifier. There also are plans to hold the BC Provincial Open Breed Saddle Seat Championship during this event.
The BC Half Arabian Horse Association spring show is being held April 15-17 at the Thunderbird Showpark. This show will be a Region 17 qualifier and BC Heritage Qualifier.

"HELP BRING DJ BACK"
Saturday April 9th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at CornerStone Stables in Erin, Ontario. Multiple clinicians and demonstrations, silent auction, food booth/bake sale and other activities planned. All proceeds to financially assist Doris and Rob Woolner and Derek Jones as they cope in the aftermath of a horrific barn fire that claimed 12 of their horses and completely destroyed Woolner's barn. "DJ" is the only horse that escaped and is currently rehabilitating at a vet's facility. $85 per person. This is a great cause to help our Arabian horse owners and club members overcome such a tragedy. New show — Huronia All Breed Classic, Sunday May 15, at REACH Facility, Clinton, Ontario. Combination show with Zone 1 Arabian Horse Club, Western Style Dressage Association of Canada and Arabian Horse Association of Eastern Canada AHA One Day Show. Great opportunity to show in a variety of classes all at one location. Affordable entry fees. Multi-ring format. AHA qualifier, AHAEC point show and payback.
